Diamonds Dream of Africa, Malindi has won an award at the Hotel Awards Final Gala held in London, the United Kingdom in December 2018. The awards was an evening of celebration in honour of hotels and resorts across the seven continents, and contrary to other situations, local Kenyan media failed even to mention about it.
The Five-star hotel located in the Serene coastal town of Malindi, the land of golden and white pristine beaches was named Best small Luxury Hotel in Kenya for 2018-2019.
The judgings panel at the international hotel awards comprises of 80 industry judges drawn from different places in the world. The chair of the judging panel is a member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom Parliament, Lord Thurso.
