Pineapple cake

The origin of Pineapple cakes is from the Asian country of Taiwan. The sweet fruity cake is made using an assortment of pineapple slices or jam, eggs, flour, sugar, and butter.


Pineapple 6 pieces
Sugar 1 cup
1 Egg
Salt ½ teaspoon
Milk ¾ a cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Flour 1⅓ a cup
Butter ⅓ cup


Using water, mix 6 tablespoons of sugar to make a caramel glaze just like pudding caramelized sugar.
Heat oven to 180 degrees F, in a baking tray and melt butter.
Arrange pineapple slices on the baking tray and pour the sugar mixture on the pineapple to coat
Meanwhile in a bowl, beat together butter, milk, egg, some salt, sugar, and baking powder to a fine mixture.
Add flour gradually as you stir well. When ready pour the mixture in with pineapple ensure it covers well, and bake for 40-50minutes with the temperature of 180 degrees
Serve with juice or tea
