After a month-long of hype and preparation from the Malindians team and Haifa Timimi, the Malindi Business & Art exhibition took place on Saturday 20th April 2019 at Sinbad Park in Malindi Town. The event which was initially targetting just about 500 people from the national government institutions, County Government, business owners, and the general public saw over 2000 people attending it.
The event attracted over 50 businesses in Malindi town. These were businesses from all tiers from Banks, Media houses, industries, Hospitals, local non-governmental organizations, shops, food restaurants, and even fruit and nut vendors.
The Exhibition, which was geared towards creating a marketing platform for the local businesses, products, services, art and many more not only did it offer that but gave Malindi residents awareness and an opportunity to interact with business owners and learn about services offered in hospitals and many more.
One of the main attractions of the day was the display of foods, arts, and other Swahili traditional wares. The food was amazing and sumptuous and felt many of the people who had come for the exhibition wanting more and more.
